INTRODUCTION
The department of Anatomy was established in year 2013. It is carrying extensive teaching program for undergraduate students to get well versed knowledge of anatomy which will be useful in their further professional life. This department is trying to set genetic lab which will be useful to the people of Chhattisgarh and also to the postgraduate students.
FACILITIES
1. Lecture Hall :
Leture hall is as per the norms of National Medical Council of India. It is well equipped with the teaching aids. It is provided with necessary independent audio-visual aids including overhead projector, slide projector, LCD projector and a microphone.
2. Dissection Hall :
• The facility of dissection hall is as per the norms of the National Medical Council of India. The hall is well lit, well-ventillated with exhaust fan.
• Large size cadaver table-20, small size-05
• Locker facility available for students.
• Adequate teaching aids present in the hall.
• Embalming room, space for storage tanks available.
3. Demonstration Rooms :
Two demonstration room available with capacity of 90 each. Audio-visual equipment available.
4. Histology Laboratory :
Histology Lab is equipped with teaching and practical facility for the students. Lab has sitting facility for 90 students. Each student is provided with a microscope .Preparation room for technicians and storage of equipments present.
5. Museum :
Museum is divided into various subsections namely Gross specimens which is divided region wise ,Osteology, Neuroanatomy, Radiology section (X-rays, CT scan,MRI), Embryology charts, models and specimens. There is an adjacent room for the preparation of specimens and their catalogues.

6. Departmental Library :
Departmental library-cum-seminar rooms is present with approximately 150 books.
